Andy was the Project Director for a major study setting out the growth and regeneration case for Crossrail 2, the proposed £30 billion rail link between south west and north east London for Transport for London and Network Rail. The study assessed the potential for 200,000 new homes and jobs around stations along the route, drawing on station-area masterplanning, land use and economic analysis to show how the scheme could unlock development and support London’s growth. The work won the Institute of Economic Development 2018 Award for Greatest Economic Impact.
